John A. Porter was born in Maryland and died in Washington D.C.
He pastored several Churches including Grace AME in Catonsville
and Ebenezer AME in Gerogetown. His parents were James Albert
and Winifred Ross Porter. John A. Porter was African American.
Winifred Ross' mother was white.
