A.L. Gnagey Store, located on the south side of old Route 40 in Grantsville, Md. Abraham Lincoln Gnagey was the son of Emanuel and Eliza (Livengood) Gnagey. In 1888 he married Effie Harshbarger at her home in Indiana. They honeymooned in Grantsville, Md. where they set up housekeeping in the new house "Lin" had built for his wife.
