!Her birth announcement in the "Centre Daily Times" read: "Timothy Edwar d and Jennifer Lynn Houser of Bellefonte announce the birth of their firs t child, a daughter, on Oct. 12, 1996, at Centre Community Hospital. Th e infant, who was named Emily Alicia, weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces. The m other, the former Jennifer Lynn Bomboy, is a daughter of James and Lolet a Bomboy of Shickshinny. The father is a son of William and Virginia Hou ser of Bellefonte."

!Her obituary in the "Centre Daily Times" read: "Jean L. Koch, 66, of Lam ar, formerly of Long Island, N.Y., Los Angeles, and Phoenix, died Sunday , Dec. 29, 1996, at home. She was born Feb. 16, 1930, a daughter of Edwa rd 'Sonny' Houser and Zilla Clements Houser-Lose. On April 21, 1946, i n Valley View, she married Robert E. Koch, who survives at home. She wa s an electronics inspector for Sperry Electronics in Phoenix prior to ret iring in 1978. She was a member of St. Louis the King Catholic Chruch i n Glendale, Ariz. She enjoyed all types of crafts. In addition to her h usband, she is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann Edward of Shawnee, Kan ., and Tammy McIntyre of Phoenix; three sons, Robert G. and Nick A. Koch , both of Phoenix, and Mark A. Koch of Overland Park, Kan.; a sister, Eth el Benn of Laughlin, Nev.; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildre n. She was preceded in death by a step-father, Fred Lose. There will b e no public visitation. Private funeral services and burial will be hel d at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made t o Community Nursing Service of Clinton County, P.O. Box 904, Lock Haven , Pa. 17745 or the American Cancer Society of Clinton County, 200 N. Fair view St., Lock Haven, Pa. 17745. Funeral arrangements are under the dire ction of Wetzler Funeral Home, 206 N. Spring St., Bellefonte."
