!Her obituary in the "Centre Daily Times" of Fri. 2 April 1999 read: "Ca rol Ann 'Tina' Lyle, 62, of State College, died Wednesday, March 31, 1999 , at Centre Community Hospital. She was born May 30, 1936, in Huntingdo n County, a daughter of Jeannette Emigh Laird of State College and the la te Charles T. Laird. On April 3, 1954, she married Kenneth D. Lyle, who s urvives at home. She was a partner in a local restaurant, Kollege Kitche n, during the late 1960s and early 1970s. Later she was the head of th e housekeeping department at the Holiday Inn in State College until she r etired in April 1998. In addition to her husband and mother, she is surv ived by five sons, Jerry of Philadelphia, Mark of Milesburg, Brian of Boa lsburg, and Craig and Mike, both of State College; three sisters, Mary L . Waite of Bellefonte, Dorothy J. Thomas of Pensacola, Fla., and Miriam M argaret 'Peg' Hoover of Albuquerque, N.M.; three brothers, Robert L. Lair d of rural Port Matilda, James M. Laird of Warriors Mark, and Charles T . Laird Jr. of State College; and four grandchildren. Visitation will b e from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, 1034 Benner Pik e, College Township. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the fune ral home, with the Rev. Michael G. Trimmer officiating. Burial will be i n Centre County Memorial Park, College Township. Memorial contribution s may be made to Woodycrest United Methodist Church, 219 W. Clearview Ave ., State College, Pa. 16801."

!His obituary in the "Centre Democrat" of Thu. 14 May 1914 read: "Henr y Martin Stover, of Axemann, died at his home last Friday evening at 9:2 0 from peritonitis, being sick about a week. Mr. Stover was the son of M r. and Mrs. Uriah Stover, and was born in Houserville, Nov. 26, 1861, mak ing his age at time of death 52 years, 5 months, and 12 days. He was mar ried to Miss Sallie Dunkelbarger, May 7, 1885. Deceased is survived by h is widow and the following children: John, of Illinois; Mrs. Harvey Fike , of Osceola Mills; Uriah, Bellefonte; Mrs. Louisa Keller, Stevens; Jenni e, Orvilla, Eva, James and Joseph at home. The following brothers and si sters still survive: Mrs. Minerva Tate, Nittany; Mrs. Joseph Fish, Lewis town; Mrs. Calvin Burris, Axemann; and Mrs. Aaron Lutz, Centre Hall. Th e funeral was held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Methodist Church by Revs. C . C. Shuey and D. A. Frum. Interment was made at Pleasant Gap. He wa s a member of the I. O. O. F. lodge."
