He was born May 13, 1917 , in Pine Hall, a son of the late Olan A. and Elizabeth Walters Johnson . On Dec. 7, 1937, in Houserville, he married Jennie Mae Eminhizer, wh o survives at home. He was a self-employed farmer for 11 years and was a lso a truck driver for Titan Metals, now Cerro Metals, for 30 years befor e retiring in 1981. He was a member of Pine Hall Lutheran Church. He en joyed watching television, pitching horseshoes, playing golf, and gardeni ng. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Beverl y E. McMurtrie and Barbara Lyons, both of Bellefonte, and Sandra M. Rot e of Julian; six sons, Dale A. of Pleasant Gap, Charles M. of Julian, Rob ert L. of Centre Hall, Clarence D. Jr. of Boalsburg, Lemoyne R. of Port M atilda, and Stephen C. of State College; a brother, Walter C. of Julian ; 25 grandchildren and 30 great-grand children. Visitation will be fro m 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, 1034 Benner Pike, C ollege Township. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral ho me, with the Rev. Michael G. Trimmer officiating. Entombment will be i n the Chapel Mausoleum in Centre County Memorial Park, College Township . Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 11 6 S. Allegheny St., Belelfonte, American Heart Association, 501 Howard Av e., Building D, Suite 101, Altoona, Pa. 16601, or to Houserville United M ethodist Church, 1300 Houserville Road, State College, Pa. 16801."
